Congrats to Sly James on his election as Mayor of Kansas City, MO. James started out running two years ago, a successful attorney active in public life but unknown to the public. Methodical, steady, smart, Sly James put together an awesome campaign and consulting team to win a primary out of a 7 candidate field, and go on to win the General Election on March 22nd.

Hamburger Company Rallies for Alaska Teachers and Support Professionals

NEA-Alaska, the union representing Educators and Education Support Professionals across Alaska, was looking to make a change for their advocacy advertising in 2011. They'd heard about some ads the Connecticut Education Association had aired in 2010, and wanted a similarly creative approach. CEA pointed NEA-Alaska to their firm, The Hamburger Company.

Alaska is so unique, and required a campaign tailored to the diversity and range of the state's people and educational situations. The Hamburger Company created a campaign that was equally unique, and creative, and rallied support for teachers and support professionals in a way that was outside the box, but faithful to Alaska values and to the powerful image teachers and support professionals hold so dear. We're proud to have been a part of NEA-Alaska's continuing success.

 

 

No more Smokestack Loopholes, Senator Murkowski.

Its amazing what a little exposure can do.  With Hamburger Company's help, the National Wildlife Federation Action Fund exposed Senator Murkowski for what she is: a player in the lobbyists' effort to allow smokestack loopholes.
